This is my chara for the boondocks. It's suppose to be a younger version of myself. I thought of it last year around when the Boondocks first came out with it's show. If you want me to explain her story hit me back 1. It's sad.
Shanise Johnson, a young girl growin' up in the hood with her thung life father Tyrone and sweet loving mother Ravlin.
One day at the age of 7 Shansie was in her room watching cartoons on nickolodeon untill she heard shouts from the living room. Slightly opening a crack in the door her eyes widened in shock to seeing her drunk father chocking her own mother to death. She was too scared to move and wanted to help her mother so badly but her body just wouldn't let her. Yet when she saw her mother's face she didn't seem sad about leaving; just crying and saying how much she'll always love Tyrone and Shanise. Seconds later Ravlin dropped to the floor having to be stranggled to death. Just relizing what he had done, Tyrone screamed ramming his head against the wall. He just couldn't get caught and to make matters worst it was his own love. Seeing all this Shanise cried hidding under her covers. By the next day her mother's body was gone and Tyrone woke her up immiedntly tell her "We're goin' on a little trip babe.." Shanise asked for her mother by Tyrone simply said she was out on bussiness. About a week later they moved to woodcrest leaving nothing behide but her mother... At school Shanise would get teased because she told the kids her mother was away on bussniess. They would say she just left her behide, or didn't want her, or ended up bein' a whore and ran off. Telling her father about the things that happened at school she transfered to another school, soon meeting Huey and Riley. But by then she was more of a tomboy. Time to time Riley would try to call her his bitch, just as another word for women but she would always quickly slap him up side the head. She looked up to Huey like a brother, him being one yeah older. (Shanise: 9 / Huey: 10 ) Soon after she meet more and more friends, Jazmine becoming her very best friend. Soon after she meet Lamonte where everything soon would change in her life.
Hm, a little bit like my character, Anjelika's story. somewhat, anyway (wanna hear her background too? I can almost picture drawing your character and mine together!! aw that's so cute!). Hehehe, I like it.

Ack...this is REALLY long D: But I have a fanfiction about this girl up already (I wrote it way too long ago ). Though this gives more background information:
Born from a one-night stand along with her twin sister, Anjelika Smith’s first home was Baltimore, the so-called “most dangerous place in America” where she witnessed eleven year olds holding guns and firing them while she watched as a three year from her apartment window on a daily basis. Moving from Baltimore to Compton where her father had run off was supposed to be for a better life style. But Compton had its good parts and bad parts also, which made it just as hard on the twins. Anjelika and her twin sister’s mother moved in with their birth father, which only added onto the chaos during the years. Gang-shooting-drive bys, getting shot in the ankles, having a knife held to the neck, being taught how to hold a gun, was all Anjelika Smith went through from ages 3-8 while her sweet 3 minute-younger sister stayed innocent even through the trauma. If you were to examine the back of their shoulders closely, they each bear a birthmark: Anjelika’s is in the shape of a bat/devil wing, while Annabella’s is in the shape of an angel wing and much lighter than her sister's. At the age of six her father gave her a large custom made silver bullet with small writing print in graved on it, “Daddy’s Compton Angel.” Even though her father loved her, as time progressed, he loved only her. Not Annabella, or her mother. This resulted in beating her mother almost everyday out of the week, right in front of Anjelika's and Annabella's terrified green gemstone eyes as the horror reflected against their glow, forcing Anjelika to develop the habit of scratching out the word, “Daddy” on the custom made bullet with one line each time he beat her mother, which was up to seventy or ninety times. She replaced “Daddy” with “Satan”, after vulgarly claiming about how her father was Satan, and she was now the daughter of him. The night of Anjelika and Annabella’s eighth birthday, their father set their apartment building on fire, locking Anjelika in a closet and telling her to “Shhh” before leaving her sister and mother to burn in hell’s rage. Luckily, Anjelika was able to use an office paper clip to pick at and unlock the door and escape in time while her sister and mother had already been murdered by the bullet. Three weeks later, her Grandmother, also known as Granny, became her legal guardian. She was set to move out to Woodcrest, where she meets the pessimistic but leftist revolutionary Huey Freeman, and the misled youth Riley “Escobar” Freeman. Her flirtatious ways set on Huey, her constant insults direct to Jazmine Dubois's hair, while her hate/love relationship grows with Riley, being his EXACT replica in ways of looks and personality. All the while, she still carries the “Satan’s [Daddy’s] Compton Angel” custom made bullet… “To remind me of what I became a street-fighter for! To find him and take him down...so it could also remind me of ma’ burden and pain…ma’ stupid curse…and that alone is what keeps me goin’.”
